After Faraday’s death, Jack convinced the others to bring him to the bomb and execute Faraday’s plan.
He believes that detonating the bomb will cancel everything and the flight that lead them to the island would have never happened.
Kate does not want to take the risk to blow up the island and tries to convince him that the risk is too high and if he’s wrong everybody would die.
Locke is now the leader of the others and want to meet Jacob. He asks Alpert to lead him to Jacob.
Sawyer got caught and is now under investigation because of the camera video that displays him bringing Ben to the others.
In the previous episode we learn that Eloise is Faraday’s mother and she stayed on the island before.
She was wrong about Jack being part of the island so Faraday comes back to the island trying to take back the Ocean 6 to the present time.
Faraday wants to talk to his mother who is part of the “Others” and believes she is the only one who can reverse time.
He convinced Sawyer and Kate to come with him.
However his plan did not worked as he expected to.
As Sawyer is trying to help Kate, Miles is assigned by Horace to a secret mission. He had to deliver a dead body to professor Chang. Hurley comes with him and learns from Miles that professor is supposed to be his father. Miles was told by her mother that his father was dead and left them alone.

Sayid is held as a prisoner by the Dharma Initiative, presumed to be a Hostile. However, during his capture, he believes he has discovered the reason why he’s back on the island.
Jack, Kate and Hurley wind up on the island in 1977, where they meet up with Sawyer and also join the Dharma Initiative. Meanwhile, Sun is stuck on the island in the present with Ben and the other passengers after the plane crash.
The survivors left on the island, now led by Sawyer after Locke’s departure, find themselves back in the 1970s, where they are now forced to become members of the Dharma Initiative.
John Locke, now alive again and back on the island after the second plane crash, flashes back to his return to civilization, where he is brought in by Charles Widmore and asked to convince the Oceanic 6 to return to the island.
Eloise explains that the Oceanic 6 have a very limited window to return to the island, and leaves Jack instructions to bring one of his father’s items to John Locke.
